Preparation and organization of a conference PROSPECTS OF THE AVIATION INDUSTRY IN THE EXPANDED EUROPEAN UNION.

The conference and a series of meetings hosted by the Aviation Valley Association in Rzeszów ,Poland on 15^th September Meetings with representatives of various  clusters, associations and aerospace industry companies interested in investment in our region and becoming part of Aviation Valley industry cluster.

Distributing over 300 invitation for the conference which will be organised by the Aviation Valley Association in Rzeszów, Poland in September, 2005, 164 actual participants from 17 EU countries. Meetings with representatives of Polish and EU governments and members of parliament 16 presentatiosn, panel expert discussion, wide spread information about the INTERREG III C ADEP project.

Activity N°2

Promotion of the developing industrial cluster in the Podkarpackie Voivodship as the INTERREG

III C ADEP subproject.

New cluster companies logo and data placed on the Aviation Valley website  production of promotional banners

of Aviation Valley and INTERREG IIIC ADEP project to be used at conferences, seminars, other events TV programmes about  the Aviation Valley cluster Interviews in Polish and international  TV, radio and newspapers.

Articles published in various newspapers and magazines (e.g. Financial Times, Newsweek, Rzeczpospolita, Puls Biznesu ,etc.) Presentation of the P-4 subproject and  INTERREG III C ADEP program in the Committee of Regions In Brussels on 1^st December, 2005 in presence of members of European Parliament, Commission and representatives of all regions participating in INTERREG program. The banners promoting the cluster and INTERREG IIIC ADEP project exposed during conference “AV …)and the Polish ADEP seminar.

Activity N°3

Organizing and conducting  INTERREG IIIC ADEP seminar+study tours, which took place in Podkarpackie voivodship, Poland on 11-13 October , 2005.

The INTERREG III C ADEP seminar and study tours in Polish companies and research centres organized by  the Aviation Valley Association according to the action plan set in Oulu Meetings , discussion and mutual exchange of experiences. among the project partners from Finland( 4 participants) Ireland( 2 participants) and Poland( several different representatives of the Aviation Valley companies and scientific institution).

Providing the partners with the information about the development of the AVIATION VALLEY cluster as well as about activities concerning the realization of the INTERREG III C ADEP project Mr. Ari Atossava’s (Finland) presentation MICROPOLIS/ HUMANOPOLIS subproject.of research paper regarding the growth and cooperation of newly developing industrial clusters, Mr. Vincent Reynold’s ( Ireland) review of perspectives and possibilities in the field of SME collaboration,based on the Irish experience Mr.Iika Frederiksen’s (Finland) presentation about necessary conditions for a successful, and sustainable cluster development based on Finnish experience.

Activity N°4

Preparing and executing an informative presentation of the Aviation Valley Association as a developing industrial cluster as a model sample of INTERREG III C ADEP project to be presented in the Committee of Regions in Brussels.

Activity N°6

Participation in a  seminar of EU Technology Platform for Aeronautics ( Topic: Possibilities of participation in  EU FP7 Program Swidnik.

Activity N°7

Participation in the seminar in Kosice, Slovakia: “Clusters as chances for developing neighbour Slovak and Polish regions”.

Trip + seminar  Presentation of the Aviation Valley as a fast developing industrial cluster.

Meetinsg with representatives of different industrial clusters from Central Euope Mutual sharing of experiences.
