are:<\/span><\/strong><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">to improve the existing manufacturing base.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">to create a strong and reliable network of subcontractors and a low-cost supply chain.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">to attract foreign investment.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">to develop a relationship with other European centers of the aerospace industry.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">to promote joint cooperation of the industry with universities of technology, and researchcenters.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The <strong>long-term objective<\/strong> of the Aviation Valley Association is to transform southeastern Poland into one of Europe\u2019s leading aerospace regions, which would be able to provide a diverse cross section of products and services for the most demanding clients.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A member of the \u201cAviation Valley\u201d may be an enterprise from the aerospace sector or an R&amp;D institution associated with this sector, operating in south-eastern Poland, provided it has a recommendation from at least two current members of the Association.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In addition to submitting a membership declaration and the required attachments, the applicant should also prepare a cover letter explaining the reasons for applying for membership, outlining how they can contribute to the development of the Polish aerospace industry and describing how their presence would strengthen relations among the members of the Association.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>List and description of services offered as part of the National Key Cluster\u2019s activities:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ol><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Consultancy services relating to the analysis of a cluster member\u2019s international business model.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Information sessions introducing the topics of digital transformation and digitalisation, leading, amongst other things, to the development of the DL 4.0 project concept.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Supporting and initiating business partnerships and facilitating cooperation aimed at creating and implementing innovations between established international corporations and local start-ups.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Support for DL member companies seeking specialised facilities to develop new products and test their functionality, through the use of the research and demonstration infrastructure of other cluster members or external entities (PNT AEROPOLIS, the IoT Technology Incubator, etc.).<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Technology audit \u2013 consultancy services covering the analysis of a company\u2019s technological potential and needs, including a report on the company\u2019s current technological development, along with an indication of future directions and recommendations for further action.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Analysis, preparation and publication of cluster members\u2019 technology offers in the European EEN database.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Co-organisation of regular meetings of the Science\u2013Economy Cooperation Forum as part of the \u2018AERONET \u2013 Aviation Valley\u2019 Cluster.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Lobbying on behalf of the industry through cooperation with European, national and local government bodies, active participation in shaping cluster policy, as well as defining and consulting on national and regional smart specialisations, e.g. aviation as a regional smart specialisation for the Podkarpacie region.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Preparing industry reports, feasibility studies and research briefs for the aviation sector in Poland.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Submitting comments on behalf of DL members as part of public consultations and other processes announced by government and local authorities.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Training services on intellectual property law \u2013 familiarising cluster members with issues relating to intellectual property rights, their protection, etc.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Training on standardisation and assessing companies\u2019 levels of innovation \u2013 training
